Meetings -  The last meeting was on the 28th Feb 2025, featuring a talk by Stephen Smallbone on newspaper clip coverage of Inkpen from 1750 to 1900. The talk was very well received and we now continue the work to categorizing newspaper articles from 1900 onwards.

We have just launched our new website in beta form at history.inkpenvillage.co.uk. Please take a look and let us know what you think. This new version is the result of residents input during the early part of 2024 - I hope you like it and find it easy to use.

The next meeting is likely to be in May/June time, probably covering our use of dowsing as a low cost technique to try and discover long lost building foundations and artifacts. Keep an eye on this site for details of that meeting.
